The "Color Is..." Campaign

Color is never just color. It’s mood, memory, and identity; a language without words. For Ebijou’s re-entry into the world, we wanted a campaign that did more than showcase jewelry; we wanted to spark conversation. Enter Color Theory: Where Color Meets Character, a series built on the idea that “Color is....” Intentionally unfinished, infinitely personal.

Together, these stories form our first chapter back into the world. Color Theory is not about one answer, but an open question: What is color to you?

Color is Memory

For our founder, blue is more than a hue; it’s a portal. The deep, saturated colors of St. Lucian markets—tables piled high with tropical fruits, vegetables stacked like sculptures—are stitched into her memory. Blue reflects home, heritage, and the way color grounds us in place and time. With Ebijou, color becomes memory you can wear.

Color is Ritual

Yellow is the gentle reminder to pause. In a culture that glorifies speed, yellow asks us to slow down, to bask, to rest. It’s morning light through a kitchen window, it’s the ritual of pouring tea, it’s the sacred act of honoring yourself. At Ebijou, yellow is the invitation to treat the everyday as ceremony.

Color is Voice

Green is unapologetic expression. It’s the voice that doesn’t ask for permission, the boldness to step into yourself fully. For us, green is proof that color is not decoration; it’s declaration. It says who we are, what we value, and how we move through the world.

Color is Joy

Pink, in its brightest form, is a reminder not to take ourselves too seriously. It’s play, laughter, music turned up too loud. It’s the childhood joy of bubbles, carefree afternoons, and a wink at adulthood’s seriousness. At Ebijou, bright pink is joy embodied; because, jewelry should be as fun as it is beautiful.
